I'm afraid you've been suckered into believing the US propaganda that all Iraqis are evil. The Hitler situation is, in fact, quite similar to this, as the only people who would ever be wearing those ID cards *are* peaceful people...

Just like the Jews, they don't want their lives messed with by some higher up who never even sees their faces.

Sounds like a line from the manual for more effective genocide.

"In order to get the support of your civilians, you must first demonise the enemy until the populace no longer sees them as human"

You seem to have forgotten tha cities, even cities like Fallujah, are home to vast numbers of PEOPLE.

Not every Muslim is a terrorist. Some are, and they need to be dealt with.
Not every Christian is a genocidal maniac. Some are and need to be dealt with.

Cody, if you really believe that killing vast numbers of people on the fringes of the problem is the way to solve the terrorist issue, do the world a favor.Grab your weapon and put a round into that scumbag in the White House. He is as much the cause of Iraq's problems as any other terrorist.

I'm not so concerned about that. The main thing that concerns me is requiring all men to work - slave labour?

I know that it's the Iraqi government ordering this, I never said it wasn't. However, this just reenforces my belief that many Iraqis would have much rather not had the US get involved in the first place.

You have some freedom with your Social Security Card (although I know how difficult it can be to live there without one, my sister is currently doing so). It is a bit different - you're not required to wear it at all times and as far as I know it doesn't display your home address to the world. However, you also don't have to have DNA tested nor have your retinas scanned, just to enter your city. You can enjoy the freedom of your own car, rather than being escorted and tugged around everywhere you go. If you don't want to work, you don't technically have to...

This situation is far different than living in a cozy US home in a cozy US city...
So very true, which brings me to my point. How many cities in the world are the primary spot for beheading innocent civilians? How many cities in the world are the number one terrorist hide out? I dont know about making men work, if this is true then I disagree with it.

Gee Taranaki thanks for putting words in my mouth! So you say there are civilians in the city. Wow, i would have never guessed that. Why do you think that the Marines allowed time for civilians to leave the city and give away the element of suprise?

Like I said, the U.S. is not calling these shots. If the Iraqi's dont like it then there voices will be heard during the elections.

And thanks for putting words in my mouth. I believe in killing the problem.
