Re: Expected HP and 0-60 with these mods....

yeah, but my problem is, i look at everyones long list of mods and i add that shit up, thousands of dollars we are talking here. Im a young buck and in college now, i have prolly 500-700$ to toss into engine mods of the 97 GTP im getting, BTW, it is coming with a 3.4 pulley, 9inch, open cone, u-bend and resonator taken out.. So atleast i got a lil start. Im juss confused on what is gunna get me the most for that price... weather there is one big thing i should get like a 700$ exhaust or like a few lil things....

yea mufflers wont really free up that much hp thats just the rout i'm goin...my local mufflershop told me it would only be $300 to put a pair of flowmasters on..i want to have the u-bend deleate and the resonator removed and maybe a larger down pipe so that will cost me more but sine you already have the u-bend and resonator removed you'd only really need the mufflers...for max performence for you buck tho you might look at rocker arms..if you want to put a cam in eventually tho you must be careful what ratio you get.

no problem. if your going to get the muffler and let a shop make your system then jus make sure you get some stainless tips at least. hate getting those $hitty tips from those muffler shops always start rusting a couple months later.

it's called "sweet" not cute . "cute" is what the girls call those Volkswagon cabriolet convertibles. "sweet" is when you have a nice exhaust with some chrome to show it off and "holy sweetness" is when you have flames coming out of those tips.

You know I found the one thing about being old that is really cool. You have all the toys!! 6 cars are fun to have. Done with all the school I'll ever need. Kids are gone. And I can run around all day after the wife naked. But by the time I catch her, I forget why. What were we talking about?

Re: Expected HP and 0-60 with these mods....

consumer reports: The biggest spenders are people between the ages of 19-25. This is true, im 19, living at home becuase i commute to college. Have very few bills to pay for, and i make enough working 20 bullshit hours a week at subway to pay for those. I think that in 5 years when i have to go out on my own, yeah i will be making 40 grand a year or hopefully more with my good degree im getting, but i will have a house and a car to pay for and all the other bullshit that comes along with the actual hardcore real world, i figure right now at 19, i have a foot in the real world. I think becoming older has a lot of downsides to it, the best advantage i could see is gaining experience and wisdom that only comes from living life. The downside is when you start to become cenile. Man i can just see it now, 50 years from now when im driving a 2055 Buick LeSabre mad becuase of the new music "young Punks" listen to now-a-days, pissed that Rap music is not listened to anymore. wow, it is way to late and im way to tirred and blown out , i need to stop typing here, but i cant. someone help me... cant stop typing... mmmmmmm GTP....ohhhhhhh...
