jeez, i didnt realize it mattered that much, or worked that fast..i guess that kinda sets me for intel when i get a new processor...

Noooooo!!!!!! Not the dreaded Intel. Just because they are more super idiot proof, doesn't make them better. They cost a lot more, to. Just go with AMD. Plus, the newer P4's put out almost the same heat as the top of the line AMD's.

hrmm AMD vs. Intel .... reminds me of Lamborghini and Ferrari....lol..one of those eternal battles...

No, not really. With Ferrari and Lamborghini, the best is debatable. Everyone knows AMD is better (except the most expensive models, but no one buys those often, anyway)

I agree. Intel used to be better but not anymore. AMDs may run hotter but they are faster and SMP capable!

I have machines with both AMD and Intel. The AMD perfomance is much better price vs price
