Is it me, or is the Scaglietti the ugliest Ferrari in a long long time? Why doesn't Revell release their Euroean AG models over here - licensing rights?

They do show up from time to time; the S Class I built was purchased from Hobbytown USA and was packaged as a Revell Germany kit.

Dunno, there is some stiff competition from the likes of the Enzo.

Licensing is one thing, but the market demand is more like it.
You'll be surprised what the majority of American modelers want, if you check the annual kit of the year pole in Scale Auto. They're...ummm Let's put it this way, I don't think AF members represent the US car modelers very well.

I know all too well!! That's why my builds are so coldly accepted at my local model club Still I persist!! I always throw something weird in whenever they include the poll forms in the magazines!

I couldn't agree more. I show up with Mercedes and BMW models among american cars from the 60's. They don't draw too much interest.

I *THINK* the Escort is just a repop of the old Esci kit...available for many years at an almost throw-away price.
