1990 300zx n/a vs. 1997 3.0 acura cl

well the cl is a tough car to beat, i beat him using D1-D3 then OD when he was just using normal D
but when i left in OD and him in normal D he beat me, half a car away at around 100mph then i feel something slam into my head... it was the leather of the bottom of the t tops, those t-tops are built tough

my other friend watching said he saw it fly 3 times as high as the car, nothing was wrong with the glass, but the leather ripped off and the handle broke and the plastic around the hadle broke off and pieces were in my car.. its kinda strange how some pieces were in my car instead of the whole thing just flying off

Wasn't criticism, and yes you need a window, but you also found the answer to your question. You stated your drag calculator said you'd win by a millisecond, the specs said he'd win by a c**t hair. It was a 50-50 race as I ses it.

HOW IN THE HELL DID YOU PULL THAT OFF???? just joking with ya pal but damn, that sucks. and whats even stranger is that the glass didnt break. thats wierd. id like to know how that happened. the wind shoudlnt even be catching on the t-top, it should just be flowing right over it.

well i had the windows down, at 100 weird unexplainable things happen plus you feel a huge amount of steer sensitivity once you hit 100 its like mach 1 type of a thing

luckily it landed on the grass next to the road, must of flown like 50 yards from where it took off, toobad i dont have it on camera, it would be proof that nissan makes some tough t tops, i might of forgotten to put on the latch because i was in a hurry to put it on because a semi was coming and i was aligning with my friend at same time.. so that incident isnt nissans fault at all, just wait till i get the turbo in my car... i just hate seeing moms drive mustangs that would whoop my ass, theyre all over the place

yeah i have been to a 100mph in my z. you latch on your t-top must not have been fully engaged or something. who knows? all as i know is that sucks.

BTW: i love the speed sensitive power steering in the z32. its not something that many people talk about. just had to throw that in.
