My question is (mainly to the people planning to buy a console from me when there finished) would you be fine not having the ash tray? The lighter will still be there but the ash tray isnt going to happen unless yall strongly want it. Most people flick the ashes out the window and store change in the ash tray anyway, but I wanted some opinions first. By the way, in the spot where the ash tray would have been, there will be a slot for your cell phone or sunglasses or something.
Eh, screw the ash tray. I used to smoke and never used it either. Windows are good for that. It will probably look better anyways. I'm really excited about the console and the cup holders! It's going to look awesome. Any idea on the price(s) as of yet?

Depends on what you want it made of, fiberglass (comes primered ready for paint) will be around $100 shipped, carbon fiber will probably be around $220 shipped, There will also be a carbon overlay that is fiberglass with a carbon outter skin that will fall between those two. The carbon overlay ones will be identical to the full carbon ones from the outside, but it wont be solid carbon, it will have fiberglass under the carbon.

Hmm..maybe i'll go for that. How thick will the overlay be? Like..it is going to wear easy or possibly peel off or chip? Sorry if that's a stupid question, I dont' know shit about overlaying or c/f..

I'll buy one that has no ash try but a storage unit all the way.

If people want to smoke they can smoke outside the car.
