car won't start

Thanks to all for the replies! We found the problem! We found that although every part was in tip top shape, when the battery was replaced, so was the positive lead to the under hood fuse box, and over time that connection had worked itself loose. The connection was good enough to run power to the car until a high amperage load (the starter) killed it. After tightening everything down, the car started up fine.
