Ah the heck with it.
tried just about every thing, came to a conclusion------ D-Series motors are not meant to be modified, first of all it's a waste of money,2nd-not worth it cause still wont produce substantial amount of power, unless you go turbo, even then ,why?
I'll probably end up keeping it stock, exept for suspension mods of course!

Re: wouold doing this help me get rid of the rice sound

I can vouch for CivicSpoon's suggestion on the Apexi WS1/2 exhaust. It's uber quiet, the thing makes just a slight rumble and I love the sound of it, it sounds like a factory tuned exhaust and not some bullshit fart can that you can hear from blocks away....I hate those mufflers that sound like youre at 6k rpm when youre really driving off at like 3k rpm - the WS exhaust should help a lot. And it's definately a good idea to get at least a resonator.

I read the thread so far and i think you need a new muffler bearing and/or dunkalator valve. It will add the most hp and deaden the sound by about 100db.LOL

Re: wouold doing this help me get rid of the rice sound

dude, PUT THE CAT BACK ON. Cat's help out A LOT. go to a muffler shop, and have them put a OEM type muffler on your car. that's what I did, it's really quiet. sounds a little shytty when I get in it, but who cares. if you want quiet that's just a sacrifice your gonna have to make.
