Re: Finished - Ferrari Boat!

Would be cool to have the whole collection of those old race boats...Maserati etc.

Indeed, but I have too many old American boats to build (Caddy's, Lincolns, Buicks... ).

So who's now inspired to build a James Bond-esque aquatic Enzo?

Hey, i seem to remember reading about this thing. Wow, leave it to Ferrari to make a beautiful thing out of any vehicle they build! Great build--the detail would have suggested a larger scale than 1:43. Compliments on the wood deck.

The deck on top is an opaque decal in two halves. The two decals matched up perfectly.

The woodgrain on the sides is only the dark grain. I painted the bottom tan and then applied the clear decal with woodgrain on it to simulate planks. It came out pretty realistic.

Thanks all..
