bah earplugs are for wussies!! if they're REAL fans, then they should be as loud as the music. I remeber Rob pointing right at ME (yes me) and said "you you guys up in section 231......could you have waited any <bleeping> longer to get your tickets?" LOL! woo! my seats werent too bad, just a bit high. we COULD have snuck down to the floor. The people on the floor were all getting me po'ed, cause they stayed in their seats and didnt like...storm the stage! plus there were a BUNCH of floor seats still open. WE shoulda gone down there. Ah well. Im putting aside $175 bux for When METALLICA goes on tour again. Ah that will rule, cause im getting front row tickets. Too bad they wont have Jason but still. its METALLICA! a007pl would agree, that Metallica rules.

Anyway back to the point, don't bring earplugs, unless your a wuss! Zombie is MEANT to be loud.

What I am kinda surprised at is he is playing a kinda small venue (5000 seats). But with that small of a place, guaranteed to get a good view Alex just went to the System of a Down/Clutch concert last week at the same place so he told me to bring earplugs LOL. Unfortunately no cameras or video are allowed so no pics

Bwah?!?!?!

The Damned?!?!?!?!

oh I am SO jealous!!!!!(but onlyif it the original Damned that were one of the originators of Goth/Horror Punk from England, If they play the song Nasty...thats where my hacker-esque screen name comes from! Dave Vanian is so cool!)

but unfotunately I refuse to go to concerts of any kind anymore(after I saw Bad Religion, one of the BEST political punk bands of ALL time, open the stage for Blink 18-Suck I lost all will to even listen to new music...and if you look at my music collection I have nothing newer than about '99 in it!)

I really hope you are joking. Not to flame you Steel, but that is one of the most ignorant things I have ever heard. If you want to not wear earplugs, because it numbs the experience or whatever, so be it. But I hope that then if someday you happen to have the misfortune of being afflicted with hearing loss or even worse tinnitus that you are then privy to the foolishness of going to conventional rock concerts without hearing protection. Do you think James Hetfield would now say that earplugs are for wusses since he is legally deaf?

I agree with JD. A REAL fan would want to preserve hearing so he/she can enjoy many more concerets to come. Also remember this is a very small place, only seats 5000 so imagine how much louder things will be in that small of an area. The earplugs will not completely block out the sound. The concert is also during the week, so I can't be deaf or headachy for work the next day
