momo- what off set are those wheels? I may have to get me a set. hehehe. yep, first turn the adjustment knob all the way clock wise (full hard). and then turn it back couter clock wise 14 clicks. if it seems too stiff still, turn it to 15th click . depending on the spring rate, you don't want to go 16clicks. also, the knob will keep turning up to 24 clicks counter clockwise, but do not go over 16clicks. it was only meant to be used up to the 16th click.

you may notice some clunk noises from the dampers, but that is from the air bubbles accumulated from shipping. after you break it in, the clunk noises will gradually dissappear as the airination (sp?) is complete. btw, I put an order for those typeNA's myself directly to TEIN just last Friday. hehehe.

Dude, you are potentially looking at trouble with the lower grill shut off like that. Even if it is some sort of mesh, it will block a significant amount of airflow.

If you are going to use a mesh, you should use a more open mesh. A good friend of mine has a degree in aerodynamics and said any mesh impeeds air flow. If yours is mesh, it appears to be *very* small openings. That will seriously impair airflow.

I'm not dissin your ride, but don't want to see you have problems.

Yeah, i wonder about that as well.
I have been reading a few car books here and i see how there is a trend starting by using Alloy sheet plate and only drilling a few hole in it. It may look good all polished up but it cant do much for the cooling.
I have seen a similar problem with guys using those "centreline" mags with no holes etc in there mags and the brakes get that hot they loose there stopping power and start to wrap the disc it self over time due to the lack of air flow around them.

momo: My dad does professional auto graphics. Is it a kind of tape they used for that?(the lights)

I know that vinyl tape(2 mil) is the best for that. I thought it was tape but maybe I'm wrong.

momo, please post picts of how you did the trunkliner to get to the rear TEIN damper control knob. thanx. I would imaging you cut around the rear strut tower area so that you have easy access. I'm planning to cut it myself, but don't know which hump the strut's under. hehehe. please post picts of your trunk. thanx

anyone know the offset of that MOMO Sport wheels?

Don't cut the trunk liner....well you can but you don't have to. Just open the back doors, drop the rear seats and there it a trim around the opening behind the rear seats. Remove that and reach between the liner and rear seat to adjust the shocks. You don't really do that enough to justify cutting your liner.

yeh, I didnt cut my trunk linings either...you can just lift up the trunk mat and the side trunk linings to get to the knob, not THAT much trouble

unless you get a rear strut bar, you dont need to cut up anything

guys, thanx for the info. appricate it. yah, I better just leave the liner alone for now.

how hard is it to get the trunk liner off for installing the TEIN's? I haven't taken a real close look at the liner yet, but is it just held together to the chassis with those clips with the center pin you push in to release? how many? thanks a bunch

momo- I'm in the nw suburbs of chicago. I go to kokomo, IN once in a while for business. I don't usually buy used wheels. why are you selling them?
