Depends on what state you reside in. I was in Arizona last May and a robber pulled a gun on three guys in a parking lot. A fourth bystander pulled a gun and shot the robber, then one of the victims pulled his gun and finished the robber off. NO ARRESTS were made. Frontier justice works..

I'm no chicken-shit, but his situation sounds like the guy was looking to shoot someone. Otherwise, why would a guy challenge a group of people? I think they did the right thing by letting him run his yap and leave. Pride and honor are something you can't use if you have a bullet in the ass. If you've seen waht a real bullet does to the human body, it sure ain't like on TV.
