That is one of the dumbest reasons I've ever heard for supporting a candidate.

Re: Who did you actually vote for?

badnarik.

Bush is a horrible conservative, and a horrible president. i dont understand how someone with any sense could vote for a man whose administration has done so much damage to our country

Kerry is a tard as well. I could not in good conscience vote for a man who betrays the very platform he claims to uphold. his civil rights record is horrid, his spending plans are scarey as hell, and he's just an overall douche.

badnarik...the best of both worlds, not the lesser of two evils.

Voted Kerry. Oh, I've got my fair share of problems with him mind you, but for me the only way I could make a decision was to go beyond the "records" (I don't think Bush OR Kerry have very pretty histories) and beyond all this crap with Iraq, and security, and all the other stuff the talking heads have been bouncing around for the past year. I chose to analyze the other policies held by the candidates, you know, that whole "domestic" thing I just felt more in tune with Kerry's plans for the future of the sciences/bio frontier, alternative fuels, the environment, healthcare, etc. To be honest with you, I don't even like to think about most of the "major" issues, because I feel that the majority of them call for an approach that goes beyond party lines and political labels, something bigger than the name on the desk in the oval office. I just hope whomever wins, Bush or Kerry, that there is a bigger focus over the next four years on the things that really matter to America.

Re: Who did you actually vote for?

I voted Kerry, though I don't like him particularly, mostly because he dosent scare the hell outta me like bush does, and he's a little more green than the shrub.

Un-fucking-believable. What are you on buddy? Please read the entire post and then reply.

If you cannot acknowledge everything I wrote, then I will no longer need to justify my views on your behalf because you simply cannot read.
