but the league can't stand by and watch one of their key players get destroyed because he pissed off a guy bigger than him. given they could get by with TO out, but they'd obviously like to keep getting the money TO brings in.

yea but causing permanent brain damage isn't good D...it's being a jackass. i'd much rather see a good form tackle (i'm not sure anybody in the NFL knows what that is anymore) that some guy get his brains splattered all over the field any day.

I always enjoy a good hit while we had double days in the morning. It sort of made me happy lol Watching my teamates with blood on their head cus of their helmets, guy's knee bleeding from the impact they got from the ground. WOW its buetifull man lol

a little blood is no problem...a concussion is. i like seeing a solid hit too, but the NFL players are freaking huge and they're not gonna get hurt if they plant their shoulder in a guy's gut and *gasp* wrap him up as they take him down. blood=normal concussion=not normal

players can get hurt from what looks like a "weak" tackle. Look at the hit favre took when he got his concussion awhile back...didnt get hit hard, but still got hurt.

I dont like TO but he is a fun players to watch. He says it good when he said " if you dont wanna see it dont let me score"

Now the star thing in dallas was disrespecting the entire dallas team past and present.TO and Ray Lewis were jawin all week about the game and you know one would make a play on the other and do something to the other.

Why do you think people started call the NFL the "no fun league" let the players play and have fun.

i'm not saying ban celebration all together. i'd much rather see teams celebrating together seeing as how the NFL wants to promote the "team sport" image. one guy making a jackass of himself is dumb...at least do it together because you won the game together

Compare the celebrations you see in the NFL to the ones you do in the Premier League (soccer), where players are cautioned for taking their shirt off mid-celebration, and i know which i'd rather have. Sport is about putting a show on for fans so why have shitty rules about how players can or can't celebrate...

ey 93rolla, off topic here sort of: is it true that if you get 6 or so concussion.. you die! Is this true? Becauause my buddy is up to 3 lol and i sometimes have to take over his offensive tackle spot because of that, witch I really dont like but I can live with. My blood is on the D!

i don't know about 6, i think steve young had 7, but i'm not sure. makes sense though...getting your brains scrambled that many times sure as hell can't be good for ya.
