I also have a local dude that's been helping me with my car that says he's got a friend in Miami that owns a shop and he can get me the swap for like $1200. So I donno...

I'd swap it. I would get a gsr shortblock and a b16a NON OBD head along with cable trans. You'll probably spend 2300 at the most for a nice 1.8 set up. ITs cheaper than buying a gsr motor.
