Re: killed the nsx

I didn't consider my chevelle a sports car, in fact its the least sporty chevelle of the bunch. 4 door, v6 with lots of dings. Probably my most favorite beater I would ever have. We jumped it, hit stuff, drifted it, ran from the cops (got away I might add) and took it offroading. I didn't realize the most dangerous thing was avoiding old people in a passat.

Anyways, my name stands for what I want to do in the future. I think I can turn a civic into a real street machine, for a good price and for a exceptional performance. But I am not in denial, I don't have the money to do this yet and I see no point in becoming a ricer before I do.

A chevelle dies, and another one is reborn. Me and my friend are almost done restoring a 70 chevelle that has almost taken us a year to do. All the way down to removing all the pannels and repairing the dents by hand out in the freezing cold. As a matter of fact, soon I am leaving to his house and going to try and get the thing started tonight.

Thank me for being incredibly off topic.

Anyways, if any of us actually test drived an NSX, you would know why its worth as much as it is. I have only gone by the words of true NSX owners that the handling is godly and although it does cost a considerable amount, its regular people like us who can just barely dip our hands into the pool of the expensive sport car industry and when we do get a taste of it, we understand why it was worth so much.

Re: killed the nsx

True if I had thought it out better I would have said muscle car. but anyway please rethink that Civic. Even though I'm sure you have your mind set as most people do on things that interest them but even if you achieve what your going for its still a Civic. But good luck

lol funny stuff. for 90g's you could get an m3 CSL that, when driven right, whips the hell out of the nsx with lateral acceleration forces up to 1.4 g's. The last nsx stats I saw said it held the skidpad at .89 g's, which, by the way, was the stock skidpad numbers for my $1800 bmw e30.

Re: killed the nsx

Lateral Acceleration? Lets talk a little more about lateral acceleration shall we.. Europenas tend to use a different lateral acceleration method than we do here. Have you heard of a "SkidPad"? Probably not... Its a "Grip Dyno" of its own and it consists of going around in a large circle. I also want to point out that this is one of the very worst ways to "guess" how it will perform on the street or track where speeds are different and corners come sharper or wider.

If our method of testing lateral acceleration is not the same, the numbers are basicly worthless.

Every car is not just a Car, Some cars have a soul. Some cars are beater's. The Civic is soul-less
