Re: Brake pedal problem

I thought about getting a 300zx master cylinder and even found a couple on Ebay for cheap but, don't I need the 300zx calipers in order for that to work???

Re: Brake pedal problem

I'm thinking now that I can't get the 300zx master cylinder because my car has ABS. Unless I get one from a 300zx that has ABS. I'm not even sure the 300zx came equipped with ABS. Any thoughts on this???

Re: Brake pedal problem

no i don't think so.. all its doing is putting more pressure through the brake lines.. so if you were going to get the 300zx master cylinder then naturally you'd need better lines, but i have yet to know whether or not the 300zx MC actually fits into the 240.. and if it does then i'll end up getting one soon..

Re: Brake pedal problem

uuhhh wtf? "so if you were going to get the 300zx master cylinder then naturally you'd need better lines" that is bull. ABS means more openings on teh master cilinder. i took the ABS out so i got a non ABS master cilinder. BTW a 300 zx presure plate makes more of a differ then a 300 zx master cilinder. but that is ssssssooooo not neeeded!
i don't know what kined of driving u do, true a 300zx presure plate plus the master cilinder will give u a stronger break feel. but i think changine th epads roter lines and fulid will make u stop quiker and last longer under allot of presuer (down hill tough... etc)
