If you use tranny fluid don't run it very long. using tranny fluid was something done in the "olden" days and not really recommended now. If you have no leaks and do not burn any oil the cost of synthetic or a synthetic blend is well worth the protection and performance you get over a conventional engine oil. Use a 5W30 also. Better low temperature characteristics vs. a 10W30. I run a 5W30 syn. blend in all my vehicles and am a firm believer in the synthetic propoerties.

Don't use tranny fluid AT ALL!
Our bearing tolerances cannot take tranny fluid and tranny fluid will turn nasty in the combustion chamber. |
