I just got rid of mine and the only thing I have noticed is that my fan shroud isn't hitting the fan anymore and the engine bay is much quieter. The stock electric fan is working great for me and I live in Florida. The temp gauge is at the same place it was with the mechanical fan.

that's because the stock temp gauge stays in the middle whether its 140F or 210F.


electrical fans aint too tough to install. the toughest part is the wiring.

oh my car, the e fans are soo diesel, the car can't maintain operating temp if i leave it on. it only kicks on when the temp goes up past a certain part. this is with no thermostatic switch but on a stock harness. when i turn on the defogger, the a/c fans kick on, and while i'm driving, the temp goes down to cold!!! and stays there!!!
