I couldn't find a place where they sold a turbo for a 1993 240sx (only 95-98 240sx)
I can't do an SR swap because it is NOT street legal
I can't do an RB swap because of the same reason

If you find a site that sells turbochargers for 1993 240sx PLEASE TELL ME

I WANTED TO DO THE SUPRA SWAP BECAUSE IT IS LEGAL IN US AND HAS THE POTENTIAL TO GO ALL THE WAY UP TO 1000 hp or more (AIM HIGH SO EVEN IF YOU DON"T GET THERE YOUR PRETTY FAR AHEAD )

ebay has alot, just search for 240SX Greddy turbo kit on google, it says 96-98 but you can use it too theres no difference. You can build it from there. OR if you want to go custom, revhard and fmax make turbo manifolds as well as various otheres

nah you can use the whole kit, if you get the intercooler kit as well, you will have like 250hp if not more. That should be your base. Tune from there, that kit leaves you with plenty more boost so you maybe attain 300hp out of it to the wheels. You should do exhaust, and clutch too. The emanage it comes with will let you tune the car for more power, bigger injectors and air feul ratio.

They say 96-98 because the E-Manage has to handle the OBD-II, you can use all the parts, except for the E-Manage on all other years.

With 5gs I'd say you are way under buget UNLESS!!!! YOU are going to do most of the work your self, this will help cut the cost alot. Now 5K isn't much, but remember, there are idiots out there, and if you can find them, they might have a wrecked Supra and don't know how much it is worth, and you can get it for a steal, but after the Fast & Furious, good luck. If you can't get an idiot, the engine and tranny will run you around 3-4K, and then the Fab work, micellenious parts, you will definately need more than 5K.

why? i just dont understand wat would possess one to do this.. i just see lots of hardships and thats just from reading around and being a noob... u only got 5 grand? dont attempt to beat down ur own path especially if u didnt know if the engine u want fit...if u didnt know that ur gonna need loads of helping realizing ur dream... loads of help=cash... plus how many people will u find that are 100 percent shure about wat they are doing to ur car around u? wat im saying is that if u needed to come here to find out something u could have researched urself than ur probably not gonna b able to squeeze thru this mad mission with 5k

Then why does it say 96-98? Those are the OBD-II years. All parts might not fit in the S13 chassis, but they will fit the 95 chassis so why only 96-98?

I'd pick the 2JZ over the RB into a 240 cuz it is more economical, it is USDM (big deal with me), more experienced tuners, can be found in junk yard (big deal with me also), handles more power, you can't beat that. But with a 5K buget, good luck. Now with a 10-15K buget, you are in the neighbour hood. But since the 2JZ is so damn expensive, last I checked they wanted $4000 for the engine and wiring, without the tranny, and it had like 100K on it already. so I said F*** it, SHO is the way to go.
