I'm pretty sure it's illegal to convet from LHD to RHD... now that you mention it... I don't think that DOT allows USDM cars to converted like that...

The Dot Don't Care.... My Buddy Here In Az Converted His 240sx To Rhd, Your Not Changing Any Of The Safety Equipment. The Epa Can't Say Anything About Non-engine/emissions Changes.

i am basically the only one....
SO i wanna make it WAY special and make it RHD i just think it would be awsome and grab even more attention than it already would recieve

More attention? Yeah you'll get that alright... you are bound to get pulled over by the Po-Po more in a RHD car. I know some guy with a RHD JDM 180SX and he is always getting unwanted attention by the cops and all those mongerals jocking and wanting to jack his car... sucks... but like I said: Whatever... it's your deal!

RHD Conversion is perfectly legal...

But as for how practical is the ease of the project... I wouldnt recomend it. A LOT of chopping and welding involved... Not fun, not easy, not cheap.

i really dont think its gonna cost that much.... its not gonna be a weekend job ya its gonna be time consuming.... but hey i got all winter... im in no hurry

yeah but thats government property. the government can do whatever the hell they want. ie: in illinois we cant have tinited windows on the side windows or the windshield but our drug officers and detectives go around with 20% all the way around. damn government

i dont see why u cant reconfigure the inside of the car... its not like im really taking away any safty restraints or anything.. and u know thats what there mainly worried about...

The thing with the whole tint thing.. thats in pa too... but also were not allowed Underbody neons well any neons at that... None on the outside... not even those gay Windshield washer lights... lol there soo dumb... but anyways... even neons on the inside... if they can walk around the car and see the bulb its illegal... as well as nothing hanging from the rear view mirror... but u can put like neons under ur dash where they cant be seen from looking into the car.... those are pretty much the only thing legal neon wise....but as the steering wheel goes... as long as its in a stock location they cant say shit... so if they make Any nissan 300z thats Right side... then u can make urs right side... As long as all Dash components are in place.... Which they will be... so i really dont see that as being a problem.... the only thing i might need if u guys could look around would be for New RHD dash parts... i dont know how beat up there gonna be from the Front clip... if anyone knows where i can get some RHD dash components plz let me know

I've seen it done, and its fucking tough as hell dude.

You have to chop the firewall off the clip, which isnt too bad. Then you have to chop the fire wall off your existing Zed... Now that gets teedious.

If you fuck up at all, you have questioned the integrity of the structure, and the car may total itself.

Now if you get to this point, and everything is fine. Begin welding the JDM Firewall into your USDM Zed. You will have to weld the steering assemblies in, all the supports... Everything.

Tough stuff to do.

But if you feel so inclined... Go for it.
