Just put dual series 40 flowmasters on my 4.8L with 3" piping going out the rear, and it is VERY loud at low rpms, but at a high rev you can barely hear the exhaust. Definately sounds nice and loud....

Take the entire exhaust system off and put some stacks out your hood.
