If I'm correct, then the GX470 is based around the Toyota Landcruiser Colorado (Or Prado, as it is known in the JDM), which means only that and the Range Rover possess any off road ability.


Which means I'd probably have the Lexus.

The range rover. But I'd want it with all the kit on, like the A frames, winches, landgrabber tyres etc etc. By far a more capable off road machine than a H2. In Autobiography or Vogue guise, the luxury is not to be sniffed at either.

The Range rover is less brash than the H2, and you can drive it on british roads without 1/3 of the car in the oncoming lane. For me, the RR it is the opitamy of understated class and refinement, and it really serves its purpose.

If I wanted something just for off roading in, the new Discovery 3 (LR3) is by far the best.
