Re: consequences of venting
You would see very little power on a near stock setup from a MAF. Especially with smaller UICP piping, and on the stock turbo. I wouldn't consider MAFt until I had a FMIC.

Re: consequences of venting
i hope for their new version they intergrate the translator into dsmlink, i know they've been talking about it for about a year now. i've held off buying both dsmlink, and a translator to see if there going have it in their next version. i've had the ecu and the maf for about 6 months now. and im getting tired of looking at them on my desk. sigh

What do you want integrated? Most people can set the MAFt all zeros and tune in DSMlink "like the good lord intended" -Kevin

Re: consequences of venting
They are talking about it but it wont be happening any time soon. For on they dont want to compete with the translator guys. Two, there is a lot of work that goes into mapping out the output characteristics of the sensor to get the correction curves, and all that data will have to be stored somewhere in the ECU. I personally dont ever see it happening. The translator is only 200 bucks on top of it, so I dint really see the point.
