i dunno about Demon Tweeks they don't seem to sell any decent performance products.

At the moment it looks like i'd have to import from Japan to get the stuff i want and its fine by me.

and for everyone posting welcome to the forum :

First, welcom to the site

if you are looking for an adress for the exhaust, check AVB-sports in Belgium (adres is in the list on top of this forum), and if you think it's to far to drive, you can come to the big Honda meeting there in August (also on top of this forum ).

Hi guys.. a Welshman here.. like I said in my first post - I am picking up my 2000 Accord Type R on Wednesday, but I am looking to get a new exhaust system fitted asap.

Not to be too max power - but I just want a nice stainless system.. any ideas where is the best place to go.

I am just outside Cardiff if that helps

Martin.

Well I've just my second (Well kind of, the first was a Rover 600 - An Accord with a different badge on it!) Honda.

Got me a nice Prelude, only a 2.0i rather than the 2.2iVTEC I was after, but trying to find a nice model on a limited budget is a tad hard!

Not done a huge amount to the car, mind you I've only had it 2 weeks!

So far........

- BMC CDA Carbon Air Filter
- Full Custom made Stainless steel Exhaust (Head_Ed, this was made by Longlife who have a place in Cardiff on City Road, but to be honest I'd go to the place just outside Bristol).
- Rear Alloy Spoiler

Now to get some money together for a nice set of 17s!

Good guess!!

The strange thing is, the prelude has the F20a engine and pumps out 133BHP, the Rover I owned had the F20Z engine and pumped out 131BHP - But saying that there are 2 versions of the F20Z engine, 1 pumps out 131BHP and the other does 118BHP!

There are no workshop manuals for this car easily available in the UK - Which makes working on it hard, I have the manual for the F20Z engine which will help me with most things, but it's the indivudal settings I'm more concerned about (The valve spacing needs adjusting as it's never been done).

LOL - it must be a trait!

I am leaving my trusty old Rover 620 SLi to go to the Type R..

I noticed that a lot of the switches are exactly the same.. electric mirrors, boot release.. etc, etc..

.. the Honda will be a tad more rapid though!

Martin.
