Well, now that we're talking about Nitrous Oxide, i have a question. I know my car stuff, but i dont know alot about N2O. I know that a turbocharged car cant use nitrous oxide even close to the extend that a N/A car can, and i want to know why this is? is it because of the hotter air produced by the turbo? lol, and dont tell me the nitrous could explode, cuz thats a load. mad rap skillz.
Thanks.

Its harder to tune, that is what it comes down too.

N2O loves compression, when you boost what are you actually doing? Yep, increasing compression.

here:

Nitrous oxide has another effect that improves performance even more. When it vaporizes, nitrous oxide provides a significant cooling effect on the intake air. When you reduce the intake air temperature, you increase the air's density, and this provides even more oxygen inside the cylinder.

If you want to read the whole thing go to http://auto.howstuffworks.com/question259.htm and theres a full explanation.

Ok I've let this continue long enough. You want to carry on a conversation that isn't part of a thread then do it in pm.

Warnings will be going out to those involved and those who's input was about as worthless as tits on a bull. If you don't get one over the next 24hs don't worry, if you do get one it is best you read and adhear to them if you wish to carry on as a member of AF.
