This is why I turned off the "show images" thing in my profile. Whenever someone post a pic or has a pic in their signature I just see a link. But I've seen the mods yell at quite a few people for having big images before.

I have dial-up and it doesn't take anywhere near 7 min for a thread to load even with a .gif file.

directway satellite internet doesn't depend on dialup for upload. thats one of the options. The other option is a 2 way satellite connection. Something like $70/month for that. I almost got it before they brought cable into my neighborhood. Speed is decent with satellite.

no normal pictures are fine, the only one I have a probelm with is ... fuck I cant remember his name.. bit its a clip from the matrix in his sig.
