Re: 1985 300zx?

Like I said... you don't wanna Turbo your existing motor! That is a big no-no! Please refer to the NA to Turbo sticky about this! Just get rid of this thought altogether! Just be happy and keep her the way she is or swap out that motor!

Yes! There is a Company that imports SKYLINES for a hefty fee. But that is a whole other forum...

Where is the N/A to turbo sticky? I did a search of the forum and couldent find it. And It would be nice to have a skyline, but I dont think I want one anytime soon, Work on a few less electronicaly controlled engines first. The RB has a lot of computer controlled functions right? I just mean complex electrical system?

Anyway, I was gonna ask, whats a 2+2 300ZX anyway? Is it some sort of AWD model or somthing?

2+2 just means that the car has a backseat. in japan they made the turbo model in the 2+2 but here in that states we only got a 2+2 in n/a form. the n/a to turbo sticky is the threads at the top of the PZC forum in the red print. the thread is referring to the z32 but you will have the same basic problems when doin the z31 na to turbo.

The sticky is at the top of the forum... as for eletronically controlled engines... the RB is not any more complex than a VG. Like I said: They came stock in the Z31 (200ZR's). Perfect fit!
