Re: Where do you Spray??

Daytime and weather permitting, in the back yard. Nighttime or in bad weather, in a vented spray booth in the garage.

Re: Where do you Spray??

I'm from the same country than Vric so for me the winter's resuming in: no scale model at all ! My garage isn't heated yet (will be one day though) but for now, winter is a break. I don't want my little family (have a newborn) to be filled with vapor from glue or airbrush fumes (well, paint fumes). I think that a reason why I'm such a slow builder... at least one reason !!

When the spring return, I go in the garage, and bring the dream factory alive again, I spray in a open area far away (very far) from the real cars... I have plenty of space and dust don't seem to be a big problem for me.

Re: Where do you Spray??

"Dream factory" - That's great, Martbee!

I spray just outside my apartment's front door whenever I use spray cans (primer, quickie builds). There's a little beer fridge by the door that I can set my spray work stand on between coats....

If I use my airbrush, I open the windows in my room and hang a peice of newspaper in front of my books on my desk, and spray it there. I can't wait to get out of college, so my models won't share deskspace with my computer homework.... though it does make it easier to look from reference to model.

I spray in my living room, which I think now can be called my modelling room. I got 3 coffee tables in there and my subbie cop car has a table and my evo has a table but both my enzos share the same table, i got paints and tape and random other stuff just filling my whole living room.
