Id go with a nice silk dome tweet. I was impressed with the diamond audio silk domes. Those JL's dont look that impressive.

thoes JL tweets will keep up with thoes mids and lows....and thoes mids and lows can get loud enough to make yo uhave to wear hearing protection to avoid the massive pain involved with any sound over 130dB...thoes subs will be able to hit into the 140's easy in an SPL set up and maybe even in a purely SQ set up....aluminum is jsut as stiff as silk stifened by epoxy or poly resin...not quite as stiff as titanium though....but yo uare right silk or titanium is the way to go...but...oh well...

with that money, don't get a video unit, get a high end clarion or alpine or pioneer or eclipse. get a brahma or two, and a hifonics amp, or some idmaxs, i'd guess they will be better than the ED;s, but i don't know for sure.....
