hmmm....why would ne one ever want to put a turbo on v6 firebird is beyond me...go for the v8. makes a lot more sense. the point is that the firebird didnt have a turbo and it got its ass handed to it be a 30+ year old car. I dont think the sr is an overrated engine, but i do think its a good reliable one that can be found easily and modded well. I wish i had such an engine in my car...jesus...that would b awesome. I'm not here 2 start a flame war, but i also dont c what the point of defending a v6 firebird is. the firebird is a nice car in its v8 version, but the v6 is really nothing special. tell me what u guys think!

The fifth fastest time down from the top is a guy with a 1995 AUTO Firebird 3.8 V6..He has light-moderate mods and runs mid 12's at 10 psi..........
