Thats very true, but I was talking about stock for stock, and thats why I say my Zed32's well smoke a NSX in a heartbeat and don't do too bad on the turns.

Oh for stock. Well, since the NSX is like 98k, and with the money u can spend on the 350z, you can make it smoke it badly, real bad.

Careful it's a honda, remember Type-R badging gives 50 HP per badge... the car isn't it's true super powerful self with out lots of Type-R Badges...

Why is this even a topic?

It's always the samething, the one that is cheaper is always talked about as if you had a massive amount to spend but chose to buy a cheap car and put the rest into it, rather than spend it all on an exspensive car. How often does this actually happen? Pretty few, if you've got the money you'll most likely spend it, and if you don't... well you get something cheaper, that doesn't mean you'll have (in this case) $68,000 to dump into your car after you buy it... that's half of a decent house.

Your so right. Everytime anything is written about a high end car someone always comes back with a, Golly, Gee, rather than buying a Lambo for $310,000 I could buy a VW bug for $10,000 and put $300,000 into it and beat the Lambo. Myself I much rather be seen driving around in a new Lambo, than a $310,000 VW bug and have everyone look at me and say that dumb SOB spent $300,000 on that stupid VW.
KoRnboy like your thinking.

Re: 350 vs. NSX

Ok first I started the thread and the reason I asked is because im thinking about trading in my 350 for an nsx (a used one for around 30-40K not a brand new one for an un-godly price like 80-100k that’s just ludicrous) and that’s why I ask and its not like im comparing a viper with a minivan who the hell would say something like that just dumb, so for now I bid you a due

I WOULD CHOSE THE LAMBO TOO! BUT! In this car, we have both very SEXY cars, and I'd like to be seen in both. And I'd never want to be in a VW BUG, NEVER!

That was just a joke to make a point. So many times someone well say I got smoked in my 350Z by a Turbo 911 Ruf, and always someone well come back with a remark, Well for the difference of $100,000 you could make your 350Z faster than the 911 Ruf. Sometimes some people should stop and engage their brain before putting their mouth in gear. I know, cause sometimes I catch myself saying something stupid I wish I never said.
For Hummer to go out and get a NSX I think is killer, and he'll be one happy camper.

Re: 350 vs. NSX

all we need to know is that the NSX is faster than the 350Z stock for stock. But the prices of both are totally of the range. How about s2000 vs. 350z.

and the list go's on and on and on and on.
But this I can tell all you Zed lovers, the 300ZX Z32TT is the fastest top speed, stock production GP two seater 3.0 L car in the world. Now someone tell me I'm full of crap and make me prove it.

GT-R Vs. NSX of same year, GT-R Ownz.

As far as your 350Z over an NSX ... if you already have a new 350Z keep it, it's your's, it's newer, and for what you would put into the trade-in you're speaking of you could TT your Z and it'll be a totaly different car; now that is if you are still willing to spend the money if you keep your Z. I am Nissan biased, I'm a Nismo Nerd and I love the look and feel of Nissans over any car, but think of it like this, find a NSX for that price it'll have more miles than your Z, plus (assuming you're a car care freak) it might not have been taken as good a care of as you have your Z. Besides, there's nothing sexier than the sound of a VQ35DE and a BOV. (well an RB26DETT which I did get to hear blow off a couple days ago and nearly nutted myself; but I love the grunty rumble of the VQ a littler more.)

aww come one, don't be hatin on the bugs. i love bugs, nothin more fun then beatin people with thier riced out imports with the original import, the VW lol. anyways, havin a sleeper car is fun, people don't expect anything from a bug. for the price it takes to make a bug run 12's, i couldn't even buy 1/3 the price of a new car hahaha. oh, i don't think i can find it again (it's burried in another forum) but it's a video of a bug kickin an enzo ferrari's ass in the 1/4 (both street legal of course)

A bug VS an enzo and won??? Hard to believe but ok. +D Guys I have raced my friends 1994 NSX. We had a good time. Seemed like he was faster then me at the start but my 350z started to catch it little by little. Maybe this was because there is a pretty good milage on the NSX and there arn't many mods done to the car. Intake, Exhaust, and tuning. The NSX is faster then the 350z out there, but Im still proud of my 350z. I don't care how fast other cars are. I love my 350z. O and on the NSX VS Skyline talk. I think the skyline would take the NSX on the quarter mile no questions asked. But during a track race, I believe it to be a really close battle. I have seen some of the races that had NSX and skylines in it from ( my favorite DVDs Best Motoring ) and they were really close races. Very interesting. And the talk of S2000 VS 350z, I used to own a S2000 before I got my 350z. My current car would beat my old car anyday. I loved my S2000 but its someone else's baby now. 350z would win in the quarter mile but ( again ) in the tracks. Very close. S2000 is much much lighter then the fairlady Z and because of this fact its much faster in the corners. With tracks that has a lot of corners and a short straightaway I believe the S2000 could overtake the 350z. but with long straightways and not many corners, I believe the Z to hold its lead or take the lead during the straights.
