i usually change my oil every 2000-2500 miles. the shuddering isn't normal, but it hopefully isn't something bad. like k3 said, it could just be your fluids aren't lubricating everything when it is cold. so hopefully the shuddering doesn't last too long, or the parts could get worn down really fast.

whats up i have contacted several salvage yards, one having an available tranny. message is as follows:

"We have a nice low mileage transmission in stock. It has been inspected
internally & externally. Then they are steam cleaned, palletized & is
ready for shipping. The cost of the transmission is 795. It has a 90 day
warranty, unlimited miles. If you have any questions, please do not
hesitate."

Doesn't this seem a little expensive?? Thanks

it doesnt seem too expesive to me. actually it seems like a pretty good deal depending on how low the miles are. it seems like they do a little work on it making sure it is a good product before it gets to you. usually the better the product the more expensive it is going to be. plus they are sure that it is a good product beings that they are going to warantee a part from a junkyard.

if you dont want to spend that much. just keep shopping around till you find something in your price range. good luck.

that seems the right price for a tranny that has been inspected and cleaned and has a warranty with it. the transmissions you buy for $400 could be iffy.
