I had a job today for a dealer! He needed this 2002 Ford Escape cleaned up! I'll spare you the before pictures and you can just believe me when I say that people who do not take care of cars should buy any other color than black....lol
Swirls Galore and I don't think it had ever been washed other than the rain! Speaking of rain..it was etched nicely as well! So the process was: Poorboys SSR 2.5 with the Porter Cable 7424 and Lake Country 6.5" Polishing Pad on Speed 5 Two passes on the hood to remove the heavy cobwebs and water spots! The PC was amazing on this vehicle! At first I thought I would need a high speed! NOPE! Klasse All in One X 1 coat whole vehicle (paint only) and 2 coats on hood! Also used the Klasse on the windows and headlights/tailights and Klasse was applied by hand only! Poorboy's Trim Restore On Tires/Wheel Wells & Trim and Gray body cladding. Looks very nice I must say...lol

Re: How well does this electric waxer/polisher perform?
Yes it does look pretty good. Is it better to put the Klasse all in one on by hand? I always thought it was better to put polish/wax by machine. Also does the Klasse all in one include wax? I noticed that you did not mention waxing it.

Re: How well does this electric waxer/polisher perform?
Thanks sq2278,
You can apply the Klasse by machine using the grey finishing pad at speed 3-4. You have to mist the pad with some water first because Klasse requires that you apply with a damp applicator. for this reason, i find it just as effective to apply by hand with a terry towel pad that is slightly damp. This way I can apply to a section and wipe off immediatly. Works best this way for me! Klasse is a dependable acrylic alternative that rivals the longevity of most waxes! So in some cases, like a dealer job, I will apply Klasse only as the last step product! For a retail customer, I want to give them the very best in shine/wetness/reflectivity, so in all cases a retail customer will get a coat of wax as well! A wax like P21S will blow your mind away when you layer it over the Klasse AIO. Pinnacle Souveran on darks cars over Klasse will make you pretty weak at the knees as well! Read more about the amazing Klasse AIO here: http://www.customacrylic.com/klasse.html

Re: How well does this electric waxer/polisher perform?
Ok, good to know. I will check out that site. I've heard so much about this P21S from more than just you. I guess it must be pretty good stuff. This other guy that I had spoken to pretty much swears by it. I guess I will have to definetly give it a shot.

sq2278,
P21S is a Concours Wax! It's one of the easiest waxes I have ever used! Wipe On/Wipe Off....goes on like soft butter, and a little goes a long way! It's just spreads like mad! I swear by it as well! http://p21s.com/index.html

Re: How well does this electric waxer/polisher perform?
Hey f1guy68, I was wondering where I can get some Klasse all in one. Can it only be bought online or is it sold in stores also?

Re: How well does this electric waxer/polisher perform?
sq2278,
It can be a little hard to find in stores! I would reccomend http://www.premiumautocare.com/klasse.html or http://www.autogeek.net/klasseallinone.html. Both are superb on line retailers!

Re: How well does this electric waxer/polisher perform?
Yeah I tried searching some stores but came up empty handed. They seem to just carry the big market names like turtle wax, meguiars, mothers, etc. Ive seen it at premium auto care before though so I guess thats where I'll have to go. What about P21S? I've heard that they are at Harley Davidson stores.

Re: How well does this electric waxer/polisher perform?
Yes...Harley Davidson stores carry P21S often it is called S100 but it's the same stuff! And a little cheaper for some reason too!
Exact same product though! Or order it through Premium as well!

Re: How well does this electric waxer/polisher perform?
I have a question about the porter cable. Do I have to have backing plates or pads when I am using polishing pads, cutting pads etc.?

Re: How well does this electric waxer/polisher perform?
Thanks sq2278.
This is a hobby turned profession for me, so it's been about 15 years total! And I'm still learning as new products and techniques come around! I was once in your shoes many moons ago, so you give back what you know and learned from others over the years! Ask Away! I will help as much as I can! I love this job!
