Oh the car in my sig is a well-modded Mosler MT900 photon. It has a modified LS6 motor on a corvette-based chassis. Mid-engined. I want one.

I take that back.

I'll take two!

Hmm, for racing, I'd want a vintage GTP car, preferably one of the Tom Walkinshaw Jaguars, the Hendrick Motorsports (you know, the NASCAR guys) Lola T86 Chevy, or the Chevy Intrepids.

Plus I'd have to own my own supermodified team, probably using 1996 Bodnar chassis with Kevin Ender's built big blocks.

Re:

For Racing (Drag) A Cadillac Eldorado "Funny Car"
For Racing (Track) I dont think an MT900 would be too bad.
For Street A Vector M12... Just cause you never see them
Or My dream baby A Jaguar XJ220 Swap out the engine for the originally planned V12 and add Quad Turbos.... Twins just don't cut it.

I'd take one of these...

A 1989 Nissan R89C: Twin Turbo 3.5L V8 making 800hp on conservative boost, on max boost it could go as high as 1200hp.

nissan s15 silvia tuned, or with a n/a all aluminum v8.
nissan skyline gtr r34
bmw e36-e46 m3
bmw e39 m5
is300 turbocharged, or the v8
evo rs or mr
subaru sti
audi s4
audi rs2

pretty much performance cars with four seats, doesnt have to fit four adults comfortably, i just like having that extra room compared to a two seater. i would prefer, rwd or awd over fwd, but i still wouldnt mind having a good fwd car.

now THATS my kind of car. Although I usualy vision it as a twin-charged 2zz also, got to get rid of the convertable fluff in there and weld the hardtop on to the roll cage. mmm

Silly Redneck, the IMSA GTP cars were faster than their ACO/FIA GroupC counterparts.

And Gritmaster, you're probably thinking of the road version of the R390 GT1 car, which was mandated by class rules. GTP cars hardly ever had road versions as it was not part of the rules. They were strict prototypes, and the very height of road racing excellence. GTP cars were faster down the Mulsanne than any of the GT1 and were far superior to the WSC/LMP cars that replaced them.

Too bad the series was killed because Toyota lost about 28million dollars when all three of their cars were crashed and destroyed in an IMSA race, and Nissan lost another 11million in the same race with a crash involving both of their cars. Both manufacturers pulled out.
