if u have a messy room or area in your house, look under that shit, it might be there, my computer desk is really messy, and some times i put my keys down on it, and it will get covered by a mag or some thing

if all else fails, check the ignition, sounds stupid but thats an area where i lose my keys a lot

I lost mine in my bed once! Also on my dad's desk, and in the ignition.

keep a spare ignition key WELL hidden in your trunk, and keep a spare door/trunk key in your wallet

Getting a key made at a dealer was on 20/20 a year or two ago. Lots of dealers passed them out with out proof of ownership. Hopefully things have changed.

when i worked at a chevrolet house, people would come in the service drive with just the key code and ask for a key to be made, they did it all the time.

yea i usually keep a spare in my wallet but its gettin kinda hard considering all of the cars we have... well in order to make a new key they have to reprogram the car and make a set of 2.... well forget that... guess im gonna have to wait for my dad to get back home or try to get him to send me the other key (hes in france)
