Re: How much did your cavalier cost?

2003 LS Sport Coupe (brand new with 40-50 test drive miles on it), 5 speed, moonroof, XM radio, etc., you get the idea.
$12,700 including taxes and tags, etc., but before downpayment. The car stickered for about $18,400. I put $1000 down, so that helped even more. If I was planning to do big appearance mods (read, bodykit, etc.) I would have went with a base model which also has the Eco, and been out the door for less than $10,000. But I'm married, a father of 2 and wanted a good looking, peppy car with great gas mileage. I got my wish.

My 98 Cavy ran $4900 with an as is warranty 63K miles, blinking odometer, power windows and mirrors, 4 door 2.4L. Now if I could just get the Odi fixed, I'd be in heaven!

Yep! I turned down a 2003 with crank-ups and manual side mirrors for this "stray". I knew it was a special package of some sort. Plus I'd rather spend all Sunday afternoon shining up a Black exterior; all of the other cars on the lot were white. Either way dust looks like crap on the paint!

My new (to me anyway) Z24

I just got an 88 Z24 Convertible, 2.8L, 5-speed. It was one of the cheapest cars in town at $1200. It has no rust, no dents or major scratchs adn the interior is excellent exept for a small spot on the drivers side floorboard.
