Re: 2001 chevy tahoe stalling in low speeds???

I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe that is stalling at low speeds of 45 mph or less, I have cleaned the throttle body, installed New Chevy Fuel Filter, new plugs, new plug wires. If anyone can help me please email me at: [email protected]. Thanks for your help as this is getting to dangerous to drive as this is happening all the time. Thanks, Larry Little Broken Wolf.

Re: 2001 chevy tahoe stalling in low speeds???

I dont want to sound like a idiot but oh well I have a 2003 tahoe mine stalls as well at low speeds like 5mph or lower. I have to kinda keep my foot on the brake and gas at the same time at those speeds.

Where is the throttle body? And one can show me a pic so I can clean it. Whould a o2 censor cause this as well?

Thanks

Re: 2001 chevy tahoe stalling in low speeds???

Well wanted to update some for everone. I found out where the throttle body was lol and cleaned that. Then changed out all the plugs and wires. Then added some Tectron fuel additive. Doing all that has improved my problems 90%.

I think I may do a deep cleaning on that throttle body, the one top part where you can put a small screwdriver was slap full of crude. And there is still some crude I need to get to. Either way this forums members has helped my problem 90% thank you
