Re: GTO Judge

I like it. Is the two door model lighter then the 4 door?

Re: GTO Judge

I Believe it is, but i'm not 100% sure, most 2 doors are lighter than 4 doors.

Re: GTO Judge

Well I don't really know if its a fiberglass body but I doubt it, so it's probably around the same weight.

Re: GTO Judge

I'm just hoping the new GTO and new Camaro look a little more like muscle cars next time around, and that they cut out any luxury crap that they have to to keep the price under $30,000 for a V8 w/ a 6-speed.

I dont know what all the complaints are about, I love it. I dont care if the new GTO doesnt have any similiar characteristics as the old GTO. The point is.......at least we have a modern day muscle car now. Remmember, the SS and Trans Am are gone now.

This GTO Judge design is nice and I cant wait to see them.

Re: GTO Judge

Uh...I thought GM was bringing it back for 2007. I guess not...my comments apply only to the new GTO then

Oh yeah, isn't Dodge bringing back the Charger soon, or is that just another dumb rumor?

I agree totally, it's time to stop bashing and see the new age of muscle. Even the C6 vette comes with in dash navigation... and I love both cars.

I also havnt heard anything about a new camaro...but if it were true...i cant wait to see it in action.

Fiberglass body? I would looooove to see that. However I think the Chevy Powertrain is as close to a corvette as the GTO will get for now...but please prove me wrong GM

Re: GTO Judge

Bleh, I don't like the fact that modern muscle cars have all these luxury features. All it does is jack up the price and the curb weight.

I think I have to agree, If I want leather interiors and a luxurious ride, I'll buy a Mercedes.

With a GTO, I want power, power, and more of it. OK MAYBE some comfy seats too...

The GTO was as lux as it was performance from the day it left the lot. In fact, Pontiac did all they could, especially with the first gen (1964 to 1967) GTO's to maintain a stately country club image for the car, making sure it was a more refined and comfortable car than its Chevrolet stablemate - the Chevelle.

Only the 1969-1972 GTO Judges were as raucous and raunchy as the SS Chevelles, GSX Buicks, and the myriad of badass Chrysler products.

Besides, there are only two cars that can ever claim to truly be called "Gran Turismo Omologato", and all others are merely pretenders to the name.

Last I checked, those two don't wear Pontiac or Mitsubishi emblems.

The looks have yet to grow on me.. which is unfortunate.. sorta.

But I certainly do like the looks of the motor. The intake setup looks sooo coooooool!!! so unrestricted. I wonder how well that works in wet conditions.
