Well I put the speedo out of a 96 H22A tranny into my 92 h23a trany. the speedo was off (checked by my GPS) Then the teeth ate against each other and I had to replace final drive and speedo gear. did alot of searching but found the right combination.

speedo works fine for me... and yes i'm too poor for GPS. can only make so much as an enlistee in the military :-/ ....... and i still am pretty sure the final drives are the same - the speedo may be different - but the final drive is the same - you gotta change the speed pickup when you change the speedo gear :-P ..... those gears gotta match

ummm... eBay.... got the longblock from PlanBperformance, and the tranny from a d00d who was sellin it out of his wrecked prelude
