Re: Skylines Drifting

In a AWD GTR, the special AWD system is going to make it harder to drift in it. Even if you have enough power to spin all 4 wheels in a AWD GTR, its still going to be hard.

GM Bought the rights to the rotary way back then.. never could use it to make power and be fuel effecient at all... so being the smart guys the japs are at re-engineering things to make them better, GM sold Mazda the rotary design and they tinkered with it and made it better.... to other standards tho the modern rotary really isn't that fuel effecient, especially for its displacement. BUt it makes decent power when done up right--what car doesn't tho.

I also believe Datsun had a rotary.

Most skylines are 4wd, the ER32 is rwd...
and actually.. even though its 4wd, its a good drift car, its got lots of power so the back kicks out really easily, -power to rear- is just a a tiny bit of methods to make the rear kick out, you can make it kick out on a 4wd by making a feint motion as well, skylines will still drift with its FRness and steer through with its FFness, so AWD has an advantage over FR drifts by giving more drift control, even though its harder to master...
