that would be nice since around here they passed a law saying no smoking in public buildings.

Re: Children Free Restaurants

I'm all in favour of restaurants that have a 'no minors after 8pm' policy. Right now,I'm looking for a place to celebrate my 18th wedding anniversary, but have yet to find a restaurant that prohibits nagging wives.

Fuck that.
Those kids that are running around the restaurants are gonna end up in jail anyway when they are older.
Parents have to understand they have to teach their children manners when they are young otherwise their bad behavior will only get worse.

Re: Children Free Restaurants

Try this one....

When the kid runs around screaming for attention. Get up, walk over to the kid and slap the fuck outta him. Then proceed to hand over the kid to the owners (parents) and quietly, calmly repeat one of the following
1."First time it's the kid, next time I'm coming after the roots"
2."Now I didnt want to have to do that, but he brought it onto himself. Now dont make me have to do it again"
3."You're next punk!"

Thats fine and dandy if you visit a restuarant of little people, where everone is smaller than you, but if they are bigger than you I doubt you will do that. Besides, hitting (someone elses ) kid is not the answer. Usually a good yell to either the kid or parents should be fine enough.

Btw I revised my original idea to, "buy them a chocolate sundae for desert and sprinkle exlax slivers on top."

Re: Children Free Restaurants

Wel then putting into a different situation where the parent is bigger than you.

Proceed with the following, attemp to give the child drugs/alcohol and then simply call in the police to arrest the parents for neglect. In extreme cases you might even be able to secure the child in a foster home where they will learn a little thing called respect. And as a bonus, parents might even have to take parenting classes

Re: Children Free Restaurants

Raz, perhaps when you have kids of your own ,you will know better. If anyone tried either of the stupid ideas that you have put forward on my kids, they'd get their teeth handed to them in a plastic bag.If you are incsapable of sharing public places with other people, stay at home.

Re: Children Free Restaurants

Kids of my own? I practically raised my younger brothers, sister and cousins. I joke around with that stuff, if you actually take the past post as something serious then thats your problem. Some of us liek to joke around to ease the stress.

I actually dont mind noisy kids all that much, I have lots of patience, growing up in a huge family with many younger siblings and relatives, you pick up that trait.
