I have the HKS sport and its the best mild exhast period. I'm running it off of a b16 and DC 4-2-1 1peice headers. the sound and low to mild throttle is pretty much factory, but stomp it and the motor growls then sings it pretty vtec notes. plus it routes the same as factory and has duel 2 1/4" tips. cops never suspect a thing, around my city they are HUGE pricks when it comes to exhausts. $490 cat back from optauto.com

heres a pic from my car last year:

i had the thermal 2.5 on my civic both with stock motor and zc. I have not heard a system that has a cleaner exhaust note. It has the best sound, hands down. That is...until a railroad track "modified" it for me, then it sounded like an ebay exhaust.

If you want quiet or "sleeper"....go with the HKS. I believe greddy also has a system that resembles the stock unit. The only difference is the greddy is stainless, but the HKS is aluminized steel (will rust) .

Ive heard both, and like the other guy said...its not there until you "want" it to be. Great if you dont want to attract unecessary attention to your ride.

"Great if you dont want to attract unecessary attention to your ride."

I'm only going from a new muffler and tip. What's better: Dynamax, Vibrant, or Toucan?

Re: what exhaust do u have??? (poll)

Just put on the Dynomax axle back exhaust, I'm more than happy with this $159.00 exhaust. It looks almost stock, save the oval tips and 2.5" mandrel bent piping, and I'm not sure on the sound since I can't really hear it in the car. If you are looking for something that won't attract the wrong type of attention, it's a good buy.

Re: what exhaust do u have??? (poll)

Tenzo-R Venturi muffler, custom 2.5" pipe, DC SPORTS Stainless Steel Header, shitty ass stock welded on cat. Need to change that. Sounds Nice. Cat rattles when i drive around. Need a new one or some hose clamps.
