if you guys ever watch WRC, the new wrc evos transmission keeps breaking, more often than others. they lose so much time from this.
the sti is on average, quicker than the evo. the sti is usually quicker than the evo in the 1/4. if you compare the fastest times tested in the 1/4 for both, the sti is quicker. 0-60 is more of a competition, but in most tests, the sti gets quicker times. if you look at 0-120 mph, 5-60 mph, and roll on acceleration times for the sti, and evo, the difference shows more. in 5-60 the sti beats the evo by like a second, 0-120 by about 4 sec. it should be with its bigger engine, more power, more tq, and similar weight. the sti is also considered to have a more efficient awd system. another thing id like to mention, is why the evo stops shorter from 60, since someone asked this somewhere, which isnt by much anyways 111 vs 108 ft, the sti stops shorter from 80 though, 194 vs 193 ft. the evos disc brakes up front is a lot bigger, its more than inch bigger in diameter than the stis brakes. the evo has 14.0 inches up front, and 12.0 for the rear. the sti has 12.7 on the front, and 12.3 in the rear.
