Can a str-4 neon take a 350z?

randomly came across this site but my friend had a 350z from a nissan dealership for a test drive and called me up and suggested we race. we raced twice. the first time i lost but i was only getting about 13lbs of boost. went again and i was pulling about 19lbs of boost and won by about a car and a half. and yes the z was 6speed. that is sad a stock 20k car beats a stock 30k car. even won against the g6.

They are definitely quick. I've had a couple of runs with them and they've hung really close.

srt4 is a decent car. BUT they are not faster then the 350z 1/4 mile wise of course on a highway race the turbo car is gonna pull away a lil bit considering the turbo is fully spooled and its at its maximum power level while the z is starting to leave its powerband. ive seen my friend wit his 04 automatic z put 2 cars on every srt4 he raced modded or not.

So this is an old thread, and I'm from the prelude forums, but! My friend told me that some people dyno'ed an SRT-4 and they put out around 260 hp, which means that Dodge underestimated the Neon. I don't think the Neon could take the Z, but hey, that's why we have race tracks!
