Re: '93 Revell Civic Coupe progressions

Hi. I'll try to answer questions now. I'm thinking about a nice silver for the body. The CF decal is Scale Motorsport. I'm not quite ready to show the body since there are areas I'm still working on but hopefully it will be ready soon. The dashboard has been treated to some CF decal and will be shown after I've finished detailing it. Thanks for your interest.

Re: '93 Revell Civic Coupe progressions

Hey Tonio I might extend the deadline as I'm not done, and it looks like it's just CADguy, you, and I in it still. Like I said, that contest was laid back.

And hey, no fair making an awesome model! Oh well, still can't wait to see it done!

Hey Tonioseven, which model kit is this?? is it the metal body one??? I have only seen the metal body F&F kit but the one I have is a '95, you say yours is '93??? really I am just curious if there is a plastic coupe out there or not (makes for easier customizing of course)......And looking great so far.

Well I'll be damned! unless they JUST came out I am suprised I missed them. I have been waiting for the plastic kit for a while and broke down buying the metal kit about 2 months ago. Figure the plastic one would come out now, looks like I may finally be able to build a replica of my late great '95 Civic..Thanks weapon X

Hello. I have 8 pictures for this update. The body has been primed with Tamiya gray and several small changes have been made. The doorhandles were smoothed, there were styling indentations in the front bumper that were filled, and the spoiler holes were filled on the trunklid. I like spoilers but this will look great wingless. The interior has been treated to Scale Motor Sport diagonal upholstery decals over a Tamiya German Grey base color. it sort of completes the Carbon Fiber theme I have going (even if it is out of style for most, I still like it ). Anyway, thanks for looking.

Re: '93 Revell Civic Coupe progressions

Heh, I couldn't bear to trash-build it! No major bodywork other than "The doorhandles were smoothed, there were styling indentations in the front bumper that were filled, and the spoiler holes were filled on the trunklid". The rear bumper could do with some smoothing but maybe next time. Thanks all .

I trashed a 18 yr old MPC kit for the contest.

The civic looks sweet. I like all you've done to it so far. Can't wait to see it completed.
