TS-17 Silver

I had brought the red at the model shop yesterday to paint it, but today i was driving around and i saw a silver one and changed my mind.
So today has been a very good day. Got the whole kit all painted and ready to assemble.
The body got 4 coats of silver on and is now drying.
Now this is one of the first i've done in silver TS17 and its a bitch of a colour to get right. Very hard to get a nice deep gloss....but hasn't turned out to bad. Once its rubbed and polished it will be fine.
Spray it to lighty and it wont cover....to heavy and it goes a patch-e silver/black

Started putting it all together today...here's a few pics to show.

Underneath

Awaiting Polishing....test fitting the body for height etc

If it's got room for a BIG tip....use it !!!

Tomorrow will polish the body, get the window frames all painted and all going well should be all finished

I like the underbody! Really clean and tidy

BTW PMan, Do you always follow the instruction when painting the under body or do you assume that which part should be what color?

I follow what the instructions say. If in doubt i check the net or go to my local car sales and have a look at one in person.
