I just finished my Viper (Revell, Germany). This kit disgusted me. Nothing didnīt fit right, I needed a lot of putty. I painted it in a nice metallic blue with a flat grey interior. I canīt post pics because I donīt have a digital camera

Snooker,

I've only ever built one Revell kit before, the Corvette C5-R(see gallery), that was the same, some things didn't fit together very well. This kit is different though, some parts require a bit of filling or cutting etc. but it goes together very well, I should think so for the money!

Well, Iīd like to build only Kits from Tamiya or whatever, but itīs hard to find them here.

O.K. a quick update,

The brakes, wheels and tyres are now glued in place and I have started to add carbon fibre decal to the front splitter and rear diffuser and the roll cage has been primer, also the rear wing has had a coat of red paint so that will soon be ready for decals. Pics at the weekend hopefully.

Latest update:

The chassis is now more or less finished, the fuel fillers and hoses have been fitted, the carbon decal is complete, towing eye added and part of the rollcage has been glued in place, still waiting for seatbelts so can't glue the seat and the rest of the roll cage in yet. The body has had it's final coat of primer today so hopefully can get some colour on towards the end of the week.

Steve

O.K.

Just for Dan, and while still waiting for seatbelts I've added a few wires to the cockpit area, made from bungee rubber, coloured with marker pen and attached with super-glue, nothing too complicated really.

Hooray!

The belts were coming from Wong at Mediamix and they arrived today as well as Studio 27 photo-etch parts for the Focus, Impreza and Pug 206 rally cars.

The chassis is now completed, seat with belts in and roll cage fitted. The body has been painted and decals applied, they went on well and without any major problems. This just leaves the windows and lights to be added and a few finishing touches here and there.

Very nice. I see the WRC Corolla box in the back. You working on that now? I've got some reference pics I took last week at the auto show. You want them?

Sorry I should specify they are all interior shots.

Thanks for the offer G-Forces, but that Corolla was built a little while ago, I just kept the box 'cos the cat took a fancy to sleeping in it.

Email me the COrolla pics G-Forces, I'll add them to my research folder.

Looking forward to seeing the collection when I get back Steve, and don't worry about the black lines on that kit, I'll bring you back a Gundam Marker!
