Re: You disgust me

I feel for the loss, but the problems Mitsu has with QC are limited to the truck line. All other recalls, TSBs, etc are run of the mill car problems.

I'm sorry to hear about your brother and I appreciate you coming and telling us, but none of us, to my knowledge have any cars imported from Japan. Eclipses aren't made in Japan. Even if they were, my car came from Normal, Ill. Again, I'm sorry to hear about your brother, but what happened to him doesn't pertain to the majority of us.

I wasn't there when he got the car but apparently he got it for a good deal at one of those autoshow event things, I remember one of his friends who was in the forces with him brought back a nice looking Lancer too....But I don't remember saying my brother was a grade A student who was perfect. He didn't have the highest grades by anymeans which was why he decided to enlist. So I don't see how I made him out to be perfect, just because I said he was the kindest person I knew.

You guys are analyzing this way too much. His brother died, and you guys have such big egos about your cars and this message board that you have to look for lies in his story. Trust me it sucks to have someone close to you die, a little over a year ago one of my best friends died in a car accident, and when someone close to you dies, you have no answers, there are no solutions. And if he directs some sort of negativity toward mitsubishi, let him! If you guys were in his position you would be the same way. And if you drive a mitsubishi and he disses it, who cares? It's a car, its alot less important than a human life. Im sure everyone one of you has had someone atleast relatively close to you die, and we all know it sucks, especially when it is someone as close as a brother. If this is one way for him to let out his anger, thats fine with me, i dont see why you guys gotta give him shit for it.

ok

Actually i knew a handfull of people that would pick their car over a human life. Like they would rather have most of their friends die then have their car destroyed.

Re: You disgust me

I understand you, I was just pointing out that the downfall of Mitsubishi has little to do with the passenger vehicle line.

I diddent say your bro was a grade A student, i wasent talking about him, it just reminded me about all the kids killed in anti drug/beer use lectures and anti street racing lectures.

Yeah if some one destroyed my car well i wouldent kill them but i would beat them untill they are almost dead, let them make a full recovery over the next 6 months then beat them to a inch of their life again.

I hate to say this but this is not a problem with mitsubishi. this is how the whole automotive industry opperates. A large part of how they determine a part needs to be recalled is by the number of deaths, serios injuries and lawsuits due to a specific part failure. I can understand you being mad, but in this respect mitsubishi is no different from ford, dodge, saturn, or anybody else . It totaly bothers me that car companies would rather save, or make a coupl mil, than save lives, that's messed up, but it is the way it is.

Re: You disgust me

sorry to hear about your brother man. it does suck...god forbid, god forbid, if something like that were to happen to me too due to failure of a part of a particular vehicle with known QC issies, I would be the first one to blast the entire line-up of the make/brand responsible... no one at all can make assumptions about how they would react about certain issues if something like this were to happen to them...this is something that needs to be experienced first hand for the true intensity of the situation to surface within yourself. drive safe everyone...

BTW i think there is this website called car-accidents.com... I saw a done up 3G with a huge pole inside it thru the front windshield...the driver was impaled on it, his fiance posted the pics to help spread the "calm-down-and-dont-drive-like-you-stole-it" awareness.... damn.

Re: You disgust me

I agree with you, yoshimitsuspeed, it is all major companies that does this. It's like "oh it won't affect me, if someone is killed driving the vechicles my company has made!" You know its not even a dent in their wallet when something like this happens, so you can see why it happens time and time again. It's good to know you see so things as clearly as I do!

And I'm sorry for your loss george536, but the best thing to do is to move on, though never forget how that person lived!
