the KA and SR has already been covered here so im just going to give some info on the RB, people link it because it is an I6 so in the end you would be able to get more HP out of it when compared to the other two engines, thing is aftermarket isnt to good and most of the shops where i live don't like doing it as they all fell its too much work for the gains, and suggest using the RB25 or RB26
what else seems bad is that they are older than the SR if your going JDM engine swap, they have about the same HP as the Redtop S13 SR's at first i wanted to go RB20 because I could get one bout same as a redtop SR and it was I6, but after researching it and asking shops about it i decided it was a bad choice, too much custom crap to make it fit, because premade items/kits to install RBs were for the 25s and 26s |
